In accord with cannon law - the law which governs the entire church - Our Lady of Prompt Succor Parish has a Finance Council, whose task is to advise the pastor on budgetary matters. The role of the parish Finance Councilis consultive. The council assurs that responsible, accountable, and tranparent decisions are made with respect to the parish's resources. However, the pastor alone, in concert with the relevant regulations of the Archdiocese, has the ultimate responsibilty for all secisions affecting the finances of the parish.
